21st January 2009New Website & New Look The CPI website is changing, we have commissioned a new logo and new website design via our web development company. These changes will be on line very soon, we will keep you updated.
21st January 2009New Team Members - Update We would like to introduce you to two new team members. Sue has now been appointed a position as “Sensitive/Investigator” and is working alongside the team on new locations. Sue has proven herself to all of us here at the team and we look forward to working with her more in the future. Dianne has been appointed as our new Team Manager/Health and Safety officer. Dianne has a Bachelors with Honours degree in Health and Social Care management and is a true professional in all she does. Dianne is also a qualified First Aider. As well as being “The Face” of CPI, Dianne is also responsible for updating our Heatlh and Safety procedures and implementing them and bringing them more into line with today’s environment. We also have several Guest Mediums requesting to join us on investigations which will be publicised further over the next few weeks. All CPI are committed to implementing our positive ethics within the community. We are committed to ensuring that all groups, individuals and friends are treated fairly and with respect and provide a positive future for us all. We are sure you wish all our new members success in their new roles. The CPI Team 20TH January 2009Private Investigations We have a number of private location investigations which are due to take place in January and early February. As these of business and private premises we can not reveal their names, but more information will be revealed 1 week before the investigation takes place. 20TH January 2009New Team “Divisions” CPI have decided to split our activities to enable to us to concentrate more on specific paranormal areas. As of 20th January 2009, there will be two divisions of CPI – Our Main Site will be known as “Central Paranormal Investigations” and within that our research group “Central Paranormal Insight”. “Central Paranormal Insight” will be our case study and research area. We will use this name in all research specific activity in which we would like to do further detailed study and present to the public/private sector via published written papers. This is an area in which our Parapsychological Investigate (Biskit) and our lead sensitive (Ian) would like to dedicate more time. Biskit is studying currently in Parapsychology and Ian (who currently holds Honours degrees in Science and Computing Technology) is furthering his skills by embarking on his Masters and Ph.d. This new research area will allow them to concentrate more towards their goals. “Central Paranormal Investigations” will now be our public facing division which hits the road investigating paranormal activity. Our new team members, especially with our new sensitive (Sue) and our Health and Safety accredited new Team Manager (Dianne) will ensure that we shine as committed professionals to our cause. Whilst obviously “Investigations” will also provide information to “Insight” we needed to make this difference for journal purposes. Our “Investigation” can now take a more active role with the public and general locations and still remain light hearted, where-as “Insight” can focus on research into activity and publication of results. Central Paranormal Investigations is also covered by Public Liability Insurance and have two qualified First Aiders within the team.
20TH January 2009"Lies run sprints, the Truth runs marathons…" All of us here at CPI would like to thank all investigation teams, individuals and friends who have sent us messages of support following our latest notice with regards to negative activity towards us. Your thoughts, wishes and support has been a major source of strength for us when we quite honestly did not know what to do or how reactions would be perceived by everyone else. So many have said that it was right to not retaliate by doing the same things or “bad mouthing” because that was just as bad as the original events and against out ethics - and that following certain admissions – we had every right to do what we did. We will stand by our word and after 60 days the notices will be removed from all our sites and we will wash our hands of the past. We hope our stand continues to prove that doing things the right way and not “tittle-tattling” will finally put an end to so many people trying to damage the reputations of other teams. As someone has said to us – “Most of us are very small fish, in a very big pond – if we don’t work together we will just destroy ourselves”. Wonderful words, and a wonderful way to end this post. We wish you all the best success for the future in your investigations and look forward to working with many more of you in 2009. The CPI Team
19th January 2009V New investigation taking place in Darlaston, 7th February. More information coming soon. 17th January 2009
Following recent developments in our case against another paranormal team attempting to cause CPI professional damage by slanderous comments, our legal team have approved a statement for this site.
This statement can be read HERE.
We hope this will lay to rest these problems and allow us all to move on.
Update: This notice will be removed from our site in 60 days provided our members and our solicitors are happy that the libellous statements and copyright infringements stop immediately.
CPI had no alternative but to take the action we have as it was the only professional way forward to stop the activity. We would not retaliate by spreading rumour or by attacking other teams in the same manner.
Legal assistance is not free - and we have to follow all guidelines provided to us by our solicitors. This is exactly what we have done and we are positive that all readers will agree that we had no alternative in this matter.
12th January 2009
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Sue as a second sensitive within the team!
Sue has worked alongside Ian previously on location and her experience is strongly welcomed by all of us here at CPI as we all feel she is a very gifted lady.
We wish Sue all the best of luck in her new role - Welcome aboard!
10th January 2009
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dianne to our new team manager and health and safety manager position.
The team felt that it was important to enhance this role as our "face" of CPI needs to be more experienced in the well being of the team and guests on location as well as just "presenting the show".
Dianne has many years of developing and enforcing procedures for health and safety and as well as being the "face of CPI" will be re-vamping all out procedures and managing the team in a secure manner.
We wish Dianne all the best of luck in her new role - Welcome aboard!
16th DECEMBER 2008
All of us here at CPI would like to wish all our members, friends and clients a very happy Christmas and most prosperous 2009!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the teams that have supported us and helped us through so very difficult times this year and look forward to our continued success for the future.
2009 has some very special events in store, and we hope to see you all very soon.
Love & Best Wishes from Biskit, Kelly, Dave, Matt, Gaz and Ian - Merry Christmas!
3RD DECEMBER 2008
Our most exciting venture yet!
Saturday the 13th December 2008 we will be investigating an old Lunatic Asylum in Essex with our affiliate group RIP Events. This promises to be a truly amazing night. For obvious reasons we can not divulge more information at this point, but some details will be updated before the event.
This is going to be an amazing event and all the CPI team look forward to this investigation!
2ND DECEMBER 2008
Our latest Web Statistics for November 2008 show that the cpi-online.co.uk website is being viewed by almost 100 unique visitors each day. This (for the none-techy people like us!) mean that around 100 different people each day are looking at our site (it does not count the same computer looking at the website more than once).
This is great news as it means all our hard efforts have paid off. Thank you to our web development guys!
2ND DECEMBER 2008
A press release will be made soon regarding actions made by another group towards CPI and hopefully putting an end to this situation. This is currently awaiting approval from our legal representatives.
1st DECEMBER 2008
We will be returning to our Case Study property in the next few weeks - dates to be advised, we will also be taking with us several other mediums to assist Ian with helping this family and allowing the evil entity to move on. We are all very hopeful we can finally give the family some rest from their ordeal.
28th November 2008
Forum Changes
As many people are aware, we have had several instances lately of a particular member of another Sandwell based paranormal team joining our forum and causing mischief.
It saddens us at CPI to see this member has joined again and due to our access rules (anyone can join and start posting immediately) this person has had access to the forum.
Therefore, we would like to apologise to NEW members but as of today 28/11/08 any new user will need to wait for approval before being allowed to post onto the forum.
We are sorry that this has had to happen and will cause delay for new users wanting to post, but unfortunately the small minded people of the world just insist on causing problems.
It should be noted that CPI and its web development team will be monitoring the other groups website(s) for any changes which may be in violation of our copyrights.
We would also like to draw peoples attention to our legal notice which can be found HERE should any negative events occur again from this or any other group out to tarnish our reputation.
27th November 2008
Investigation Confirmation - Another investigation has been added to our 2009 list! Confirmed to be held in Essex in April 2009. This is a joint venture with our affiliate team RIP events. More details to follow.
This promises to be another exciting adventure.
Our calendar for the first quarter of 2009 is now almost full!
25th November 2008
Due to the amount of work now required to maintain the site, an external company "RJ Web Design" is now being employed to maintain and update it for us. This provides us with added security and means we can concentrate on the important things we do - like paranormal investigations!
24th November 2008
Health & Safety & Procedures
CPI are committed to the wellbeing of our team and all people on location. To that effect we have now added a health and safety information page to our website.
To ensure that we are a fully professional organisation we are also looking into better ways of communication between the users/guests and the CPI team. With this in mind we are now implementing a new feedback procedure which will be on line soon.
This will therefore allow us to process feedback and in the unlikely event of problems a "complaints" procedure - to ensure we always are on the "top of our game".
We always aim for Satisfaction - Guaranteed!
20th November 2008
Charity Event - In support of The British Heart Foundation
Location is currently being confirmed, this will be a ticketed event and we are hoping to be able to invite around 20 or more paying guests. This promises to be an amazing event. More details to follow.
19th November 2008
New locations are now being confirmed, these include London, Scotland, Several in the West Midlands and even Spain. These details will be confirmed soon.
We now have the opportunity to investigate bigger locations than before and open these larger events up to more guests bringing a new element to our investigations and offer us more chances than working as a solo team.
Of course this now means that Kelly now needs to get over her fear of flying! 16th November 2008
After an exceptional investigation with RIP Events in Dudley we have agreed to join forces with the team again and spread our wings further than just the West Midlands.
We would like to that Kym and all the rest of the team from RIP who made this first joint effort a true success and we look very much forward to working with you in the future.
14th November 2008
We are pleased to announce that we are joining forces with RIP Events on Friday 24th November for an investigation at "The Court House" in Dudley. Very limited information is available about this location so it proves to be an exciting night.
We look forward to working with this amazing team.
10th November 2008
It is with sadness and "annoyance" that yet again CPI have been subject to another attack on our professionalism and performance as a team. It is very disappointing that these attacks are coming from another local team also based in Sandwell who are then claiming to be trying to "improve" the atmosphere between groups and work together.
CPI will not retaliate in such an unprofessional manner and we are pleased that several other teams have offered support in combating these menaces for the future. We are also pleases that a member of that team has chosen to speak out and confirm that this was happening.
We will never resort to childish backbiting, we prefer to follow legal channels if this activity persists.
There is no room for such activity - we should all work together.
For more information please see our legal announcement by clicking HERE
9Th November 2008
After proving his skills and professionalism towards our investigations and his liaison with our guests on previous investigations, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Matt to Lead Investigator for CPI. Matt brings with him a whole new approach to the way we look after and entertain our guest and a professionalism second to none which was missing from this role before. We with Matt every success in his new role.
